This policy is written to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Who we are
DeveloperBros is a sole proprietorship owned by Anmol Singh Tuteja, operating from 1234, Old Rajendra Nagar, Raipur, Chhattisgarh 492001, India.
For the purposes of the DPDP Act, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here. You are the Data Principal.

What we collect, and why
- Email address — to create your account, deliver what you bought, send your receipt, and answer your support emails. Without it we cannot deliver your purchase.
- Name, if you give it — to address you properly and to put a name on your invoice. Optional.
- Payment reference IDs from Razorpay (order ID, payment ID, amount, status, timestamp) — to confirm your payment, give you access, process refunds and keep correct books.
- Support messages you send us — to answer you, and to understand what to fix.
- Basic usage data (pages visited, features used, errors encountered) — to find bugs and understand what is confusing.
- Technical data (IP address, browser type, device type) — security, fraud prevention, and making the site work on your device.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your physical address, date of birth, government ID, or phone number unless a specific product genuinely needs it, in which case we will ask and tell you why.
- We do not track you across other websites. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party ad pixels.
Where your data goes
We use a small number of service providers, and only where necessary to run the business. Each one receives the minimum needed.
- Razorpay — payment information you enter directly with them, and your email, to process payments and refunds. Razorpay has its own privacy policy.
- Our hosting and email providers — data needed to run the site and send you transactional email.
- Analytics — anonymous or aggregated usage data. We use privacy-respecting analytics and do not build advertising profiles.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it for anyone else's marketing. Not now, and not as a business model later.
We will only disclose your data beyond the above if we are legally required to by an Indian court or law enforcement acting under valid authority, and we will tell you if we are permitted to.
Your rights under the DPDP Act
You have the right to:
- Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — fix anything inaccurate or incomplete
- Erasure — have your data deleted, subject to the one limit below
- Withdraw consent — stop us processing data you consented to
- Grievance redressal — complain, and get an answer
- Nominate — nominate someone to exercise your rights if you are unable to
To exercise any of these: email support@developerbros.com with the subject “Data Request”, from the email address on your account. We will respond within 30 days.
One honest limit on erasure: we are legally required to retain records of transactions (what was sold, to whom, for how much, when) for tax and accounting purposes. If you ask us to delete your data, we will delete everything except those transaction records, and we will tell you exactly what we kept and why.
How long we keep things
- Account and email — while your account is active, and up to 12 months after you close it
- Transaction records — as required by Indian tax and accounting law
- Support emails — up to 24 months, so we have context if you write again
- Usage and error logs — up to 90 days
How we protect it
- All traffic to and from developerbros.com is encrypted over HTTPS.
- Access to customer data is limited to what is needed to run the business.
- We do not put personal data into application logs.
- Payment credentials never reach our systems at all, by design.
No system is perfectly secure, and we are not going to claim otherwise. If a data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India promptly, as the DPDP Act requires. We will tell you what happened, what data was involved, and what you should do.
Cookies
We use cookies only for things that actually need them:
- Essential — keeping you logged in, remembering your cart, security.
- Analytics — understanding which pages help and which confuse, in aggregate.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, though essential ones are needed for login and checkout to work.
Children
Our products are meant for adults and for students old enough to be learning professionally. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 without verifiable parental consent, as the DPDP Act requires. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
Email from us
- Transactional email (receipts, access details, refund confirmations, important service notices) is sent because you bought something. You cannot unsubscribe from these, and you would not want to.
- Marketing email is sent only if you opted in, and every single one has a working one-click unsubscribe. We do not add buyers to a marketing list without asking.
We do not spam. We do not sell your email to anyone else who will.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy meaningfully, we will update the date at the top and notify account holders by email. We will not make a material change quietly.
